My dive Buddy Chris and I getting ready to dive the Keuka. The Keuka is a 172 ft long wreck that lies in 50 ft of water in Lake Charlevoix, about 1/2 mile off the Irish Boat Works. The top decking starts at about 25 ft deep. Built along the lines of a schooner, it had two masts and a steam powered wench to haul in its anchors. Today the boiler remains as well as most of the rails and decking, a sweet dive, however, visibility is limited to 10-15 feet. |
